Very nice pictures and blog! I really like the Little Devil variety Ninebark since I have smaller beds. It doesn’t grow much each year so it stays small. I’m looking forward to see how they do in their second year.

I once had a terrible problem with earwigs , trying to grow vegetables in Australian. Found out they breathe through there skin and sprayed Amway L.O.C. on them . Hope this is of some help .

Sorry to hear you’re having difficulty viewing the pictures. I use IE8 exclusively and haven’t had any problems viewing the photos in this post, so maybe the problem has to do with a setting on your computer. Glad you like the site.

Hi, lovely site. That said, the slide shows don’t display correctly using Internet Explorer 8 unfortunately…all the pictures bear a dark veil so the colors aren’t really visible. If we click “View full size”, the picture is displayed correctly (without the veil), which is good. It’s a bit laborious though because we have to do this for each picture but your pics are so nice that the extra effort is worth it.
